  1. I've been on a Beth Moore kick lately. I have one of her DVD's from Life Today, TIVO her on there every Wednesday, and just finished reading, and now rereading, "So Long Insecurity You have Been a Bad Friend To Us."

I put her teachings on in the morning as I get dressed and I so grateful for how much it is helping me make better decisions and not beat myself up for every little thing. My favorite talks are her ones about our purpose, God confidence, and when she stands in the bible study and says, "I stand before you not innocent, but healed."

  2. Beth Moore is a wonderful teacher! I prefer to "listen" or "watch" her teach rather than do her bible studies, simply because her studies are so in-depth I just don't the time or discipline to dig quite that deep! Have you ever gone to a Living Proof Live conference? You would love it, I'm sure!

  3. Hi Kristina, I've never done a group bible study. I do it on my own. I'm sure one of her conferences would be great!

  4. LOVE LOVE LOVE Beth Moore... And I watch her every Wednesday morning too! In fact, instead of listening to my regular christian music, I watch her... and sometimes I do a "Beth Drill" where every time she says a word that seems to be the focus of the lesson, I do some sort of challenge move... One time I had myself do pushups when she said "anybody with me??" and I think she about wore me out!

I just adore Beth Moore! She is so down to earth and funny too. I'm actually a part of a weekly Bible Study group, and we've done several of Beth's Bible studies. They are really good!!

LOL, Stephanie, that's a good idea! And too funny how she almost wore you out! :o) Gotta love Beth! ;o)

I just saw this post and had to respond. This is my first time posting.....I tend to be lurker. Anyway, I am also a HUGE Beth Moore fan. I have been to one of her conferences, just saw her simulcast on Insecurity, and have done several of her group Bible studies. I just finished reading So Long Insecurity and hope to reread it again, as well. There are so many wonderful things in that book and I know I missed a lot. She has taught me so much over the years but the insecurity issue has been the biggest yet. I hope that if any of you have insecurity issues (and what woman doesn't) you really should read this book. It is life changing. I also have to say how excited I am to have found the perfect workouts (and instructor) for me, plus she also loves the Lord! It doesn't get much better than that! Thanks Stephanie!

  7. This whole thread just makes me smile :-) I literally was just listening to one of her audio cds about God's timing and it spoke right to my heart. She has such a gift and I wish every woman out there would just give even one of her studies a try... They'd be completely hooked on her message and most importantly, the power of the Word in daily living - how it applies to big challenges and small...
